MEET SANDY

Led by Sandy Quirós

Yaba Chic is led by Sandy Quirós, an experienced Costa Rican wildlife veterinarian who previously worked at Las Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary in southern Costa Rica.

Her experience caring for Costa Rica’s native wildlife underpins the centre’s approach: expert veterinary care, careful rehabilitation and release whenever an animal can safely return to the wild.

The photograph shows Sandy during her previous wildlife veterinary work and does not depict a Yaba Chic patient.
